Chick-fil-A may have found itself in a lot of hot water during the past few years, but despite their often old-school values, the chicken chain still knows how to do a good deed. One of their regular customers at a location near Tampa, Florida, Stephen Bellissimo, became the recipient of their most recent charitable bid. Bellissimo has been a regular customer of the location since it opened more than 20 years ago.

To honor his dedication to their branch, the employees of the Oldsmar Chick-fil-A decided to throw Bellissimo a surprise birthday party. As a senior citizen, every birthday is an occasion to celebrate, but none more than a 100th birthday. Bellissimo has gone to this particular Chick-fil-A for over 20 years, but he never expected that he would be so honored by his favorite fast-food company. The employees, of course, had yet another trick up their sleeves.

Bellissimo may already be 100 years old, but that was all the more reason to offer him free Chick-fil-A meals for the rest of his life. If the oldest man in America is any sort of example, he’s already 112, meaning Bellissimo may have a chance to double the number of years he’s been a patron of the chain location. At the party were local news reporters who were honored to interview Bellissimo about his generous gift.

He shared with the journalists that he’d been eating there once a week, but would now be happy to upgrade his frequency to once a day. Receiving free sandwiches is certainly a good enough reason to increase the number of times that Bellissimo visits his favorite Chick-fil-A location per week. This is not the first time the company has offered up such a gesture. In stark contrast, one of the other patrons who’s been offered free Chick-fil-A for life is a baby who was born in a Texas store.
