Fast food fanatics would claim that despite it being undoubtedly unhealthy, there is no denying that in the magical moment in which one takes a bite into that cheesy, fried, savored meal – all cons are forgotten. However, even the firmest supporters of the greasy movement will have a hard time approaching a nearby drive-thru after seeing these pictures…
Ultimate Betrayal
We understand that after a long shift at work, all this guy wanted was a delicious Burger King meal, but he could’ve at least gotten out of that Ronald McDonald costume beforehand!

What Are You Made Of?
Whoever printed out the text on this White Castle takeout box clearly did not ace their math test in primary school, otherwise, they would not have suggested their burgers are made of 100% beef “with all white meat chicken.” It makes you wonder if those put in charge of making the actual food are aware of what they are making, which we certainly hope they do. This printing error definitely raised some questions in the nation’s health department, since something here smells fishy (and beefy, and chicken-y).

Scream For What You Want
Dairy Queen’s new slogan should be “Ruining Polite And Patient Education, One Child At A Time” – at least, that is what the first thought that pops to one’s mind after reading this sign. Reading “Scream until daddy stops the car,” we would hate to be the parent behind the wheel that has to tolerate their screaming child just because the fast food franchise ordered the kids to do so. It it were us, we would most likely ban Dairy Queen out of spite.

Off The Menu
Happy Meals, as their name suggests, make those indulging themselves with them joyful. It might be the excess salt in the fries or too much sugar in their drinks, but all in all, one cannot fight the urge to feel absolutely content when having one. The sudden feeling of being uplifted could also be due to the fact that you get a small present that comes with the meal, despite how the toy always changes. However, unlike what that sign suggests, McDonald’s staff is off the toy menu.

(Un)Happy Meal
Subway does not always feel like the ultimate choice when it comes to fast food, but that is only because you have to assemble the sandwiches yourself and have to go through the somewhat difficult decision-making process of deciding what you want it to contain. These sandwiches give one the opportunity to be more selective with their taste, but they are no Happy Meal – although it seems this specific sandwich did come with an extra gift! One that is not child-proof, however.

Taco With A Side Of Cardboard
Since 2014, more than a billion Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco Supremes were sold. The Taco Bell website ever suggests that “if we were you, we’d get two. One you can eat. The other, you can bronze and mount above your work desk as a living testament to the power of collective positivity.” But we do not think this is one Doritos Locos Taco they would ever want to put on a pedestal, considering the horrible error that was made when producing it.

Lick That Job Goodbye
All kinds of thoughts and mixed emotions are brought up when seeing this image, but the first one that comes to mind is pure disgust. Why would anyone be so selfish as to lick a bunch of hard shell tacos that would later be sold to hungry, innocent, paying customers? It is highly unlikely that the young man had enough sense to throw those shells away once he was done capturing the photo he probably took for his social media account. We vote for immediate dismissal.

Sir Yes Sir
Now here is an order you do not want to get wrong under any circumstances! This drive-thru’s employees probably triple checked before handing over the bag of fast food goodies to the tank driver, as this is the last person you want to give an unsatisfying order. To be on the safe side, we would personally add a few other complimentary things, just to make sure that the person will drive away safely and never, ever come back.

A Short Memorial
A short memorial was held for poor old Dave, who just so happened to be one of Wendy’s oldest and most faithful employees. It remains unknown as to how long exactly he punched in his card in the same place that granted him a filling lunch every day until his very last one, but it seems the fast food franchise did not have a significantly hard time bouncing back and interviewing new contestants. At least, that’s what we understand from the sign below.

Hard Logic
You would think this pizza parlor is kind of stating the obvious with the warning reading “Open box before eating pizza” that is printed on the actual box, but they would not have added that alarming (or hilarious) message unless there was an encounter in the past in which customers ate the pizza while the box was still closed. Although this does not make much sense and we are having a hard time understanding how something like that would happen, it’s best not to ask.

A Sign Sponsored By VISA
It is not as if Wendy’s employees get paid any less than workers employed by other fast food franchises, but sometimes after doing the same old job for a significant amount of time, you can get bored and feel as though you are not doing the absolute best that you can do, nor are you gaining the most out of your skill set. Clearly, whoever came up with this sign felt that way – but they probably should have turned to their supervisor instead of the sign.

Meet Me At The Golden Arches
Instead of jumping to conclusions and assuming this couple wed in a McDonald’s restaurant because it was their favorite place in the world and, in their opinion, most romantic spot on Earth, we are going to guess that the two decided to tie the knot at the very place that they first met, as a way to commemorate all that they have been through and how magical that first encounter was. Still, this is a rare sight you do not come across every day.

Taste Of Free
The person who came up with this sign that was hung right under the Taco Bell drive-thru one probably did not listen during that one class in college that discussed marketing techniques, as they probably would have developed a different strategy to lure hungry customers in than publicizing yesterday’s lucrative offer that was already expired and irrelevant the following day. If anything, this probably caused an angry (and hungry) mob to demand the same free tacos were to given out that day.

Mini-Size Me
Looking at the picture below, it seems as though this particular fast food chain of restaurants has introduced a new payment method – children. Although a lot of new, sleepless parents are looking for cheap, quick and easy edible solutions and can be frequently found in areas consisting of fast food restaurants, we seriously doubt any of them would be willing to give up their child for a Big Mac with a side of super-sized french fries… Or would they?

A Skinny Taco Is A Sad Taco
This must be the saddest taco in the history of Taco Bell! Maybe whoever ordered this meal made sure those who made it knew she was on a strict diet that only enabled her to have a sliver of beef and cheese a day, or perhaps this was the wrongdoings of the fast food chain employee who had enough of people complaining too much food was spilling out of the tacos. Either way, the last thing we’re craving is tacos right now.

McRibs Are Visible
Say what you want about the server, but he seems pretty content with himself. Flashing a memorable smile towards all customers, the guy could be scorned for not wearing the appropriate attire at his place of work, but having his shirt off could also turn him into the talk of the town, thus bringing much more paying customers to the place. The guy standing in front of him, placing his order certainly does not seem to mind.

Cheesy Valentines
It is not a well-known fact that Pizza Hut delivers heart-shaped pizzas to their customers should they request so, but those who do jump on that romantic, edible train during Valentine’s Day. Arlene, on the other hand, did not have such a good experience with the fast food chain, and turned to her Twitter account to express her frustration, writing: “Seriously Pizza Hut? Does this look like a heart to you? Looks to me like someone had a bite out of my husband’s dinner before I picked it up”

It’s Not A Walk-Thru
Not everyone can afford a car, and considering how sometimes drive-thrus work for an additional hour past the restaurant’s sitting area, we can understand why this group of young boys were so determined to grab milkshakes and burgers with their self-made car. The manager can be seen in the picture, kindly and calmly explaining why their so-called vehicle does not constitute as a car, but the least he could’ve done was let them get away with it on account of their efforts and creativity.

Not A Morning Person
Egg McMuffins are definitely something to be happy about, which is why we can understand the look on the delighted employee’s face. The woman standing in the background, however, is evidently not too excited about starting yet another morning shift in this place of work, and she has no trouble flipping the bird to the camera to express exactly how she feels. Not everyone is a morning person, but as long as she turns that frown upside down when the restaurant opens its doors…

Mouse Click Away From Unemployment
This picture initially appeared on Reddit. A fellow user posted it with the caption, “I was going to buy a frosty from Wendy’s until I saw the employee do this.” Wendy’s social media department wasted no time and posted a response on their Twitter page, saying: “Unacceptable. The person in this photo is no longer at this Wendy’s. We will be reinforcing proper procedures.” We know it’s an unacceptable thing to do, but can we also blame a guy for craving ice cream?

Creative Cursing
There comes a point in one’s life where you have to wonder if you love what you are doing. Changing a professional career path is nothing to be ashamed about – if anything, it goes to show that you are brave enough to try new things and challenge yourself by stepping out of the familiar and warm comfort zone of the well-known. The creative mind who was named sign creator for this McDonald’s joint should consider a change in career since it seems inventiveness is not their strong suit.

Hot Plate, Hot Date
Date night does not always have to mean a fancy dinner and a bank-breaking bill at the end of the night, but we have to agree that there is something about the elegant way in which these two are dressed that simply seems to look out of place in this McDonald’s branch. Maybe it is the McFlurry poster hanging in the background, but we take comfort in the fact that the two do not seem to bother their steak dinner was exchanged with ketchup-smeared fries.

Home Is Where The Heart Is
Evidently, this guy feels right at home at this Taco Bell restaurant, since he even brought in his own beanbag and Bob Marley poster, which he hung in the background. As far as we know, there isn’t some hidden Taco Bell rule stating customers cannot be kicked out, but it does seem like this guy is aware of something we are not. Considering the fact he is shirtless and even has a box of Raisin Bran by his side, it looks like he’s not planning on leaving soon, either.

Middle Eastern Meal
Burger King is known to be able to adjust its menus according to the dietary restrictions of the countries its restaurants are found. For example, you won’t find a beef burger in India, since cows are considered sacred to their culture. In France, McDonald’s offers up a McBaguette meal, to fit with the eating habits of the nation. This branch evidently should have also made drive-thrus that are adapted to those riding camels. As the saying goes, “When in Rome…”

I Scream
The internet has its fair share of documentation of awkward situations, much like the encounter between the fast food employee and drive-thru customer in the picture below, but nothing really paints an accurate picture of what it is like to work in a field that exposes you to all sorts of people as this picture does – or rather, as the look on that poor, stunned girl’s face does. There probably isn’t a logical explanation for what the sunglasses-wearing, bearded guy is doing, but he seems happy with his decision.

Stick A Fork In It Next Time
Putting the gross notion of the fact someone bit into this burger aside, this just inspired us to write a brilliant new television commercial for Burger King! After all, the place’s burgers are so good, that even the employees cannot resist and take a bite into the food ordered by customers. We can see how this could backfire and open a door for many lawsuits by paying customers claiming it seemed as though someone indulged themselves with a bite of their food, but oh well.

Forever And Ever
Getting a tattoo is a big decision, considering it is going to stay on your skin for the rest of your life (as no one gets a tattoo with the intention of undergoing painful laser sessions to get it removed). The person who got this tattoo done, therefore, must have felt very strongly towards the golden M that could be spotted from miles away, or towards this particular order that they made. One does have to wonder, however, if tattooing the logo on your body is copyright infringement.

Humor Is Our Recipe
Fast food restaurants often try to give back to the community by adopting some sort of cause to show they are not all about making a profit. Just as Subway took action to fight childhood obesity in 2004 with their “Subway Guy,” Wendy’s attempted to do the same by putting up a sign that reads “Beat Diabetes.” We respect the cause and intent, but we are not too sure buying 5 Junior Frostys for $1 is the way to reach that goal.

Best Grocery Shopping List Ever
The girl in this drive-thru window is smiling because, despite not actually being in a car, you have to give it to the guy for pulling a stunt and grabbing a grocery store cart just so that he could claim that technically, he did ride in on a set of wheels. We certainly hope he was given service and was allowed to order from the window, as it takes guts to come up to a total stranger and bend the rules this way.

Just Following Orders
The good thing about fast food joints is that they are not too picky about how their dishes are built. On the complete opposite side of the spectrum are chef restaurants with three Michelin stars, which would most likely kick you out of the restaurant for asking for something as common and simple as salt. McDonald’s, on the other hand, does not mind making orders as per the customer’s request, which is why they made this burger with “only ketchup” inside.

Challenge Accepted
Fast food places are used to people coming in and out, grabbing their quick meal and running off to wherever they were meant to be next. That is why the franchises use the plastic lid for their soft drinks – not only are they easy to mark, but they are also easy to place on a cup when in a hurry to get an order out. However, there must have been an error in the process of making this lid, since there is evidently no hole to stick the straw in.

Where’s That Been?
We understand there is a need to apply to a large audience base by being the hottest place and competing with many other restaurants, but sometimes trying to break boundaries by being over-the-top creative is not a good thing. We don’t know about you, but we like our burgers and fries served in either a paper bag to-go or on a normal plate. This fast food joint thought serving the food on a shovel would be hipster-cool, but we find in simply bizarre.

A Side Of Floor Cleaner
Ordering yourself a tasty fajita, you usually get a choice of different sauces. Some like ranch, others prefer something spicy, and, as it turns out, a few like theirs with a sprinkle of floor cleaner. At least, that is what this fast food place suggested, adding the bag along with a takeaway meal. If this is a new service fast food restaurants are offering, may we suggest the poisonous substances would be given in a separate bag?

Crispy All The Way
The chain Sbarro listens to their customer when he repeatedly demanded that his plate of pasta would be heated at maximum heat, since he “loved it when his food got that extra crunchy, steaming hot taste and texture.” He was warned several times that overheating his food could end up disastrous, but the man was stubborn and argued he knew how he wanted his food. Unsurprisingly, this is how his meal turned out – but he seemed to enjoy the meal, so everyone was happy.

Based On What?
Pizza Hut brought a cold pizza over as a delivery, but it was not entirely their fault – turns out the customer who placed an order gave the wrong address since he moved two days earlier. Since he was so used to saying his old address, he forgot the minor fact that he moved, and so the pizza was delivered to his old place. After the mistake was corrected, the customer accepted the cold pizza, thinking he could reheat it in the oven – but then, this happened.

Must Be A Sign
If you are going to hang up a sign reading there is a special price, you might as well make sure everything on that menu truly does state that same price. Clearly, Wendy’s are not firm believers of “if it’s written in fine print and laminated, it’s true,” nor do they understand the concept of having a special price menu. At least one item on the menu really is 99 cents, otherwise, this sign would not have made any sense at all.

Fried Fears
A lot of things can be lost in translation, but you would expect huge chain stores that are known for having branches all over the world to make sure whoever was translating their menus knew what they were doing. This is not the same as using something common as Google Translate and hoping for a coherent outcome – this menu clearly reads something it is not mean to and could cause a serious commotion among tourists and English speakers who definitely do not want fried viagra in their sandwich.

Meat And Greet
Clearly, whoever put up this sign was not only out of meat, but also out of A’s. This spelling mistake could be justified considering this hungry employee was too distracted by their rumbling stomach to look for the missing ‘A’ that would make that sign a lot more comprehensible. But to be frank, there was no real need to explain the reason this Taco Bell joint was closed anyway. We know fast food employees aren’t paid much to begin with, but evidently spelling courses are in order.
