If you’ve ever found yourself wishing that all your favorite food will come straight to your door, then look no further. Sure, we might live in a world surrounded by take out that’s brought to our homes, but Walmart is now jumping on the trend as the company will soon bring groceries straight to your fridge.

A New Service
Walmart already offers same-day grocery delivery and collection, but what about one that sees your fridge stocked with groceries? We’re not talking about someone bringing them to your door; we mean a service that had a Walmart employee unload your groceries directly into your fridge. Yes, it seems as though this could be the next step in home deliveries.
Enjoying The Option
The service is currently being tested in a handful of cities across the nation as Walmart work to iron out any creases in their plan. However, things appear to be going well as the company soon hopes to offer the delivery to their customers. The service will be called InHome Delivery, and it means that people can head off to work only to return and find that their refrigerator has been fully stocked with everything they need.

Trained Team
Thankfully, Walmart employees have to work for the company for at least one year before they are considered for one of the positions. They will be given a one-time access smart device that allows them into the home. Shoppers must choose if they want their delivery to come through the front door or the garage, but have no fear; Walmart has thought of everything. They will be fitting each person with a camera, so shoppers can watch the delivery person’s every move to make sure that nothing happens.
Coming Soon
Many can’t wait for the new delivery service, including Walmart, who have invented the word Fridgetopia to describe how a refrigerator feels when it’s stocked with everything you need. Yes, really. For now, it looks as though most of us will have to wait until Fall 2020 to get a slice of the action. Plus, while the groceries are stated to cost the same, people will have to pay for this delivery privilege.
No longer do we have to worry about keeping our refrigerator stocked. In fact, it might not be long before someone arrives at our home to do it all for us all thanks to Walmart’s new idea.
