Hands up if you’re cooking more now than ever before? Well, you’re not alone. Because a huge portion of the population now has more time on their hands, people are making their way into the kitchen to cook up a storm. Of course, this extra time is also allowing people who were previously kitchen-phobic to embark on a cooking journey that involves more than putting bread in the toaster. It seems as though Amy Schumer is one of them, and she’s even made her own cooking show about it!

A New Situation
If you’re familiar with Amy Schumer, you’ll know that this lady has made a name for herself over the years thanks to her wit and her comedic acting talent. As a new mom and wife, she’s also found herself spending more and more time at home — and this has only increased since she has entered quarantine with her family and her nanny. What you might not realize, though, is that Amy’s husband is actually a trained, professional chef, and he seems to be whipping up some serious delights during the lockdown.

Creating a Show
Because her husband now has time to show Amy around the kitchen, she realized that this would be the perfect opportunity to create a new show. So, she managed to get the Food Network onboard, and she has her very own cooking show coming to the airwaves on May 11th. What’s so amazing about this show is that it was actually filmed in their own home during the lockdown, and their nanny served as the camerawoman! It’s even been said that they will have some special celebrity phone-ins along the way — and Amy has made no secret about the fact that she has some seriously high-profile friends.
So, will you be tuning in to watch Amy Schumer make her way around a kitchen? We certainly will be.
