Mtn Dew Baja Blast range of drinks was first introduced as a Taco Bell exclusive range of flavors in 2004. The hit soda brand is all geared up to give its fans blasts with two new flavors this summer. Previously, Baja Blast flavors were seasonal and due to the high demand of customers of Taco Bell, were short in production. The Baja Blast is a summer celebration and this year they wanted it to be super special, as Fabiola Torres, PepsiCo energy GM and CMO explains. Earlier this year, Baja Blast was added as one of their top 5 ABV Hard Mountain Dew Flavours.

The Baja Blast flavors have continued to release a semi-regular supply chain of summer drinks since 2014. It has renovated and made soda fun and refreshing for the customers. For summer 2022, Mtn Dew Baja Blast has returned to stores with two new flavors: Mtn Dew Legend Buffalo Wings and Mtn Dew Purple Thunder at Circle K. The 2022 summer will also be the first time Mtn Dew will release an energy drink. The new Baja Blast Deep Dive, an energy drink in sleek black will also rock the market. The summertime Baja blasts are becoming a legacy for the company and a favorite with the customers.

Along with the new flavors, previous flavors of Baja Blast and Baja Blast Zero Sugar, are returning. New iterations like Mtn Dew Baja Mango Gem and Mtn Dew Baja Gold in mango and pineapple flavors will also be on the shelves. The energy drink is described as having all the flavors of the original Baja blast with additional benefits of citicoline, zinc, and caffeine giving the extra boost.
